    Searching for my Uncle's grave.

But I would have thought she died dome years before this. I only have information from my Cousin, born in London but moved his family to Canada shortly after John's death, he has not had any contact with Maureen since either, so all recollections are vague to say the least. I would be very happy...

Yes, thank you, no matter how hard I try, I cannot replicate the information you were able to retrieve from the official records. This is probably why I have had such poor results. Even here in Ireland, when I was looking for his birth date, I had to change location to find him. The last census...

Kitty/ Catherine, no idea when she died, but as far as I know Maureen is still alive. Maureen was born around 1957 and would be around my sisters age.

Sorry Lyn, I missed the second part of your comment, his father's name was Michael Ready, carpenter, and his Mother's name was Margaret Lawless. He died in 1932 and she, Margaret Reidy, in 1942.

    Searching for my Uncle's grave.

Yes, me too! I find it baffling since my Uncke was definitely not a Widower, incidently his wife died some years later and I can find no trace of either her or my Cousin, their daughter!

    Searching for my Uncle's grave.

No problem, good questions! No, no death certificate and am not sure when he emigrated but would be around the 50's at a guess. Irish Catholics would not opt for cremation as Jansonism was a very strict form of Catholicism. My parents, also, were at the funeral and no mention if cremation was...
