    Presbytery Aston (Hall ?)

    Can anyone help with the any information about what The Presbytery at Aston Hall was used for in 1900? A relative has stated that her residence at the time of her wedding in 1900 was "The Presbytery, Aston". It seems it might have been used for respite for priests... but she was a 20-year old...

    Mikejee, I’m new. Hi! I found this post when I was looking for info about my family from the 1881 census. The family above them on the census are at The Mermaid Inn, Lander Street. My family - the Sturdey’s are shown living at “The Lodge at Brown Jenislaw” (tho the writing is very unclear)...
