    I've been in there! They are in a building near a Gallery I visit, the door was open so I went in to be nosey. A lady explained what they do, if you are researching family you can use their computers and there are people there to help you.

    Yes, I've seen some of those in London! I think you can also print off some proof or something, I wouldn't be very confident to use one, rather go into a Post Office!

    Interesting! My paternal grandmother's family were boot makers from Northamptonshire who came to Birmingham, I have no information to help though I'm afraid.
