    Southalls factory

    I worked in the offices there in 1952/4; I can't remember any mention of wartime damage.

    Acorn Hotel Erdington

    My late husband and I had our wedding reception, in 1954, at The Acorn too; I can't remember the annexe so assume that was a later addition.

    This scene is very familiar to me. I spent almost a year there in 1951. The sanatorium was at West Heath.
