Brummies who moved to the USA

Brummies who moved to the USA. Every now and then I think about a teenage friend I had, who the last time we talked was leaving Brum and parents to live in America with relations. To avoid being enrolled as a Grunt at the time of the American envolvment in the Vietnam War (1965) he was going to...

BSA Norton Triumph Ariel and miscellaneous motorbikes and trikes

Have a laugh. Me and the Velosolex I exhibit at Steam and Vintage Shows. This one has no throttle and no clutch, true start-stop- start motoring.

BSA Norton Triumph Ariel and miscellaneous motorbikes and trikes

I've had my M21 a few years now, once upon a time it had a yellow tank and sidecar. I'm not going to say who, as recently took em nearly 10 hours to get my classic car 10 miles home and they also diagnosed the issue wrong.:mask:

    Dunlop

Interesting thread, my only connection was visiting and sharing the place with two other surveyors every 6 months, IanJ and FrankE when we worked for Eagle Star in the 70's. I did C Zone and they did A and B Zones as we split it up between us. I didn't have a Mill yippee. My area included the...

The Dome. Did any other nightclubs in Brum have ground and upstairs dance floors controlled by a DJ in a modified lift between the floors?

The Dome was one place I visited in the course of my work. I have a couple of stories, neither good, I could tell about it. Never went their as a clubber though, I expect it was Fab.

    Swallow Raincoats

Hi Carole and others. Not sure of the exact date but it was probably around 1959, so just a brief note as I would have been 10. Miss Porter was my Aunt (RIP) Phillis Irene Porter, I never heard anyone call her PIP, did anyone? She took me to work some Saturday mornings, only a few people were...
