The problem is that many users don't know what 'profit' is, It's what's left over after all expenses and taxes are paid, so there's nothing to stop the owners/directors paying themselves £millions before profit, or lack of, is calculated.
I have some Hortons in my tree:
William Horton 1792-1849, his wife Jane Harrison 1790-1867, daughter Sarah Ann Horton1816-1898 and son Joseph William Horton 1829- ?
Sarah Ann married to David Terry 1816-1881, their daughter Sarah Terry 1839-? married to Thomas Gibson 1835-? my great granddad.
We had a guy who was an RP, Regimental Policeman, wore a blue beret (before the UN adopted them) not a nice man didn't have a father according to the chaps.
I got busy with other stuff so it got neglected until this week, I can see leaves that I think are marigold, a thistle and a couple of dandelions have sneaked in, the red at the back are just petals from the rose bushes behind that patch.
to the right of the patch I popped in three Tesco...
They were mixed seeds , not for the birds for the garden, I raised them to seedlings and planted them out, then came the hail storm and buried them in two inches of ice. these are the survivors. Can't find the packet.
Wanna play name that flower?
This is the patch where I planted out seedlings bought in Home Bargains, these survived the hailstorm but the packet didn't. ;)
Here's my neglected garden, the cleared patch is where I planted out the seedling that were topped off with 2 inches of hailstones a couple of hours later but some seem to have survived.
There's an assortment of seeds I bought in one pack from Home Bargains for £1.00.
.............that pop into your head in the middle of the night,:)
Last night I thought about Aston's Barton Arms and my grandparents who lived in Barton's Bank..............................but who was Barton?
Pet dogs can also carry that roundworm Pete. Young children barefoot in gardens with pets are the victims usually they pick up the worms through their soles.
Tried the RHs search app. got this.
