Ison and Rowley Ancestors Birmingham - Kidderminster

I can see where I got Mary Manton. Son William Izon (b 1799). Father William Izon born 1779, Warwickshire. No proof yet of date or place. Mary Manton is from MyHeritage. My Family Historian software (on my notebook) gives me real time previews of MyHeritage and FindMyPast without allowing full...

I think I provided Manton. I will check if I had it and where I got it from if I did.

Ison and Rowley Ancestors Birmingham - Kidderminster

You are saying because it is Birmingham it is likely too far away from son baptism in Arley to be THE William Izon and Mary Manton. My probability brain tells me that there will be plenty of William Izon and maybe some Mary Manton but how many of them together will there be in the general area...

Thank you. Yes Mary Smith is a tough name to isolate. Thank you for the William - Ann church. I like to look at the history of the area through the church. Missed the Mary Manton marriage. Have it now, thanks. Just came back to this Janice. Can I have the parish?

I haven't checked Mary Manton yet. I put it there as one of the group brought that name out I think. You have marriage details?

Ison and Rowley Ancestors Birmingham - Kidderminster

Ann Yates and William Izon, no children. Thank you MWS. Mary Smith is proving as common as the William Rowley 1771. I have William Izon and Ann married 1858, Wednesbury, Staffordshire. Is that from you?

Ison and Rowley Ancestors Birmingham - Kidderminster

Yes, got my error from MWS and am now using the amazing maps.nls.uk that Lyn put me onto. Have located New and Old Arley and St Wilfrid the church of William Izon (1799) baptism and its history. Listed in the Domesday Book. Church is still there but surrounded by houses. I will discover as I...

Janice, the wives and children of William Izon. (1799-1869). I expect there are children to Ann Yates as well.

Janice, attached is the William Izon sibling record with parents. Is this correct?

Ison and Rowley Ancestors Birmingham - Kidderminster

Thank you Janice, I will enter those straight away in my system so they don't get lost and are connected. Victorian layered clothing near indoor fires everywhere? Birmingham famous for its many micro foundrys?

    Wow, this is getting serious.

Thank you Janice, more family in Birmingham district. I will add her to my program and soon to the Wikitree. Is it St Peter's Arly Church? Does it say? This one is easy to read. No doubt about the relation with the same parents.

Sorry for the confusion. I have both a digital citation and an image that match. I don't know what I did. Doing too many different threads in one day perhaps. All is good and correct.

Sorry, I have been given the correct baptism record 14 May 1799 Arley and checking the record I found it is indeed the same. I pressed on a source image reference in one of my profiles and got Stretton-on-Fosse. Now I need to find who that is because it's not the baptism of William Ison.

Thought that might be the case so I have the wrong baltism record of another William Ison born in 1799 down the road. Can I be directed to the correct record. Glad I brought this up. You folk are so good with fact.

Thank you Janice. To MWS, yes we will never know if immigrated people communicated with the family they left behind. There were slow letters available. Note of interest to the group (I think) my 4th great grandfather that you found and discovered 11 or 12 children and 3 wives and secured birth...

Reporting that I have started to enter all your great work into Wikitree. I now have a 4th great grandfather and grandmother. William (Izon) Ison and Mary Smith. I will enter the 2 more wives and many children on a rotating basis so I will continue to clean up my Wikitree obligations that are...

T Thank you MWS. I have copied your report into Reuben's file as a Research note for me to follow up. I have found the same, millions of Reuben Rowleys. Who would have thought. Will do some detective work soon. It is my direct line and I do like to get to the 1700s before bleeding out against...
