Played football for Newman Tonks (Hockley) on R.M.Douglas (cement?) sports field off Penns Lane. Don't know how or why they played there, but my Aunt lived off Pitts Farm so used to nip off there after.

I had the same problems as the others above, obviously 59 Great Lister St, but couldn't find anything with this address other than a couple of beer retailers.

Between Crocketts Road/Sandwell Road & Station Road looking towards Birmingham. The old New Inns pub (now flats) was the big building on the corner in the modern shot.

Haven't had much time this week and was going to guess at the obvious, the Centurion or the Gladiator until your clue blew everything out of the window lol

Yes just checked the map, thought it looked familiar, you got the Soho tavern on the corner of Factory Rd & Park Rd, then almost opposite 'your' shop was the Old Engine pub. I had a friend who lived 2 or 3 doors to the left of that house in the street view, ironically called Berry. I didn't live...

To be honest I only had a quick look say 20mins this morning for pubs I thought from memory it may have been! Will have another better look after I've eaten my takeaway which I'm still waiting to be delivered! As said earlier many of this era look the same, thanks Keiron for the clue, not sure...

Are you sure that collecting photos of pubs isn't a cover for collecting photos of window cleaners? They do seem to feature quite a lot! Lol - Seriously you have some tremendous pictures!
