Talking about Christmas, apart from the obvious selection boxes etc do you remember those crystallized orange and lemon fruits in the round cardboard box. They were laid out like a sunflower with a round bit in the middle. We always had one of those on the table next to the oval box of dates

Coconut mushrooms, you'd finish the bag and still find your eating bits of them two hours later

My nan had a caravan down at Bewdley years ago, as kids our treat was a trip to teddy greys the sweet shop at the bottom of the high street, I can still remember the smell inside that shop and what seemed like ages looking at all the jars before you made your choice of which sweets to buy and...

It's funny how your tastes change over time, I'd probably try one of those now and like them :D :D I remember last year I hadn't had the cereal frosties for year's and year's, I absolutely loved them, even without milk, so was really looking forward to them for my breakfast the following...

I remember them being square with a dimple in the middle, and if you sucked them that middle bit would go through first and of course the first thing you would do is poke the end of your tongue through and show your mate :)

Ohhh yes I remember those old English, they were vile :D
