    I Think you are correct. This is the Finchley Road/Hornsley Rd Junction. On the original neg, the road sign is definitely LEY Rd.

    Going through all the photographs now, this one was taken in April 1987, the bus was operating from Lea Hall at the time, but can not remember the location.
