    I've still got my nans aprons, and I remember my mom wearing them constantly, and considering my nan wore them for years and then my mom wearing them, they are still in good condition.

    I hated the change over, and like you I still use pounds and ounces, and feet and inches. I bought a set of old coins to show to my grandchildren, they are all 1966.

    I started there in 72, and I do know all of the names you have mentioned, and I do remember mr mace and mr roberts, I only went to the disco once I think I went there with cherrie jobe, and some of the names have come back to me, gillian white demorise hines, maria raulins, John Lewin, gary heath.

    Yes I went there in the 70s I can't say your name rings a bell, but the few names I remember were mandy jenkins, erica ?, mark millman, kevin dobbins, there are more but I cannot remember at the moment, but they will come to me eventually.

    The three horse shoes does sell draught ale, but I don't know of any nice quiet pubs in sheldon anymore, the sheldon is now a chinese resturant and I think it's got a bar.
