On the census Court 6 is recorded between Nos. 18 & 19, I would think No.1 would be the house behind No. 19 but can't be sure.

On the 1911 census it is referred to as part of the parish of St. James' (Mere Green) but obviously covers a large area. There is a Thomas Baker aged 17 at Four Oaks Common Road.

If you're ok with giving your relative's name I can probably work out the exact address.

This is a map dated 1899 could the address be ? Court, House 6 perhaps.

Recent view from Saltley Road (Nechells Parkway), the old brewery on Cato Street North looks in a sorry state and they'll soon have an excuse to demolish and replaced with an industrial unit. Gas holders on Nechells Place long gone.

Thanks to SteveBhx for posting a picture yesterday after demolition in Rocky Lane Aston. This shows before and after.

Such a shame, this is one of my favourite street pictures from when it was 'classy'.

The buildings on the map don't appear to correlate to the photograph though.

This is a map surveyed in 1886, buildings are shown at this date.

Very strange this one, on the 1891 census there is no listing after No. 80 on Dugdale Street, on the 1901 census Mapplebeck Buildings are listed after No. 80. Also on the 1901 census both Wilkes Buildings and Mapplebeck Buildings are listed in Moilliett Street.
