H W Wards Lathe Makers, Selly Oak. Any ex Apprentices out there?

Hello Dick, I remember working with you in the methods office during my technical apprenticeship. I guess it would have been during 1970. I remember working with Roger Parish on the ERTO scheme. I was playing in a band at the time and helped Roger move house using the group van. I also remember...

I don’t I’m afraid. As a Selly Oak apprentice, my first period of work in the Worcester drawing office was in 1969.

Our Lady of St Rose of Lima

Hi there. Some great memories of the school, which I attended and left in 1961. In fact Mr McCann was my Dad. At the time he wasn't having a happy home life, which perhaps explains his behavior. He died a few years ago having lived to 94.

    Lordswood Boys' Technical School

I have just stumbled across this. It has brought back so many memories! I was there from 1962 - 1967 and I think started in form 1F and was in Telford. I came from Our Lady and St Rose of Lima primary school in Weoley Castle. I enjoyed my time at the school and ended up with 5 decent GCEs. I...
