My late father in law worked there during the war. He told us about the German planes bombing etc etc . always had pilots around testing the planes making sure each and every one did what it should do.

My late husband did his Apprentice at wimbushes in the late sixties. His name is Allan Williams, i meet him when he left Wimbushes and went to work at Bywaters in the bakery
I was born in a back 2 back in Bolton Road. I can remember some of the shops ,love the cinemas would go with my dad.Bywaters for the sausages ,Woolworths etc loved going to the park.
I also worked at Bywaters , I married Allan Williams who use to make all the pastry for the pie and sausage rolls . I worked in the office sales department. I would bring all the paper work saying so and so want this and that
I lived ln Bolton Road in the 50,s .I lived at 4/381 i have 2 sisters Barbara and Carol and a brother Peter. we moved to Stechford when i was 7. I remember Geoff Stokes i went out with him in 68.Also remember the Griffings and the aloways.

I was a Beaver Leader with the 87th Bierton Road in Yardley. I also became A District Leader , My son went into Scouts and Ventures followed by his younger sister. Did a few gang shows, but my work took me away from Scouting. I did enjoy all the things we did,
