    Hi, I have come across many photo's of my father-in-law in Singapore 1945. Could any one do restoration on them for me please. So may need lightening and restoring.

    Where did you live

    Born 60 Porchester Street, Aston moved 1966/67. 21 Turnhouse Road, Castle Vale until 1967 - 1970 1970 - 9 Markford Walk, Newtown 1970 - 1980. 1980 - moved to Kingsbury Road, Erdington, 1996 - moved to the other side of Erdington to present day.

    Memories of the Avro Lancaster

    Great photo's my father-in-law talks of his time of being in the RAF Selectar, he was in the 84 Squadron and the 209 Squadron sunderland flying boats in Singapore in 1945. He was an Air Frame Mechanic, he's always talking of his time out there, and would love to go back for a trip down memory...

    Hi, thanks for your lovely memories of times gone by. Great photo's I will let my father-in-law have a read, he'll be delighted. Does any one remember the surname of Johnstone or Bradnock who left Lichfield Road in 1938 to Turfpits Lane.
