We also had a POW camp just up the road on Groveley Lane Longbridge just before The Austins........its said they built Lowhill Lane that runs alongside Cofton Park and the Airfield area at Austins.......its all concrete sections and is still a functioning surface ( albeit a bit noisy/bumpy now)...

theres another 4 Hoban's in Yardley all buried within a few years so maybe a family plot......( might have died in the War).

Had relatives in Shirley Place back to backs on Longmore....the part that backed onto the Rea.They were Butcher and Harris and were there right up to it was all knocked down....late 60's I think.

Thanks....I missed that link and clicked on the later one which showed a random page. Was looking for Mom....Emily Price born 1922. Family rumour she went into a place like this for a short time.
