This is a photograph of Alice Elizabeth Deathridge b.1907. d.1991 .
Outside her Fathers shop, not sure of address could be 36 Vaughton Street ,or 161 Rookery Road.
Her Parents, Henry Deathridge and ( from my family ) Alice Meddings.

It was a Davenport wedding to a Wagstaff who had business connections to Sturge chemicals,Liffford Lane. But as sospiri says they don’t look short of a bob or two. Which aroused my...
I realise this is a very long shot but I’m wondering if anyone recognises from their family photographs the couple in the top right hand corner of this wedding photograph taken in 1910.
They are known as Mr & Mrs Bird and may have lived on Bristol Road / Street.
They appear to be quite a welll...
Although very distantly related the Davenport wines and spirits company Ashby de la Zouch has no business connections at all with Davenports brewery Birmingham.

My Dad used to help the groundsman/caretaker, think his name was possibly Albert or Jack. I just about remember his house with crab apple and cherry trees in the garden.
