    Hi I dont remember a tunnel to the other side of the high street, the ground floor was partly food with my Butchery section and a deli and fruit n veg. Where was the tunnel?.

    FrankF ...was you still there in 1982 ? , I did my Butchery apprenticeship there working for Bob Martson he took over when it went from a meat counter to a pre-packed operation. I had a great time there..

    Hi does anyone have any pics of any shops in Millward st , Small Heath, in the late 60,s early 70,s my nan and Grandad Charles and Hilda Field had a shop there and I remember as a small child going there and helping my nan stock the shelves. ???? Karl Field

    My grandad worked there during the war , he was a sheet metal worker and worked on the spitfire panel production. His name Charles Henry Field.

    The Parisien changed to Le Pub at some time in the 80,s..remember, the inside of the parisien was a two floored affair, with the upper floor being a round galleried style arena in order to gawp over the edge and spot someone that you wanted to go and chat to.

    Charles henry field ww1 and ww2

    Hi Wendy...he (charles Henry Field) was in the Royal Flying Corps , discharged in 1919...dont know anything about Fred.....dont know if he was in the army or RFC....
