    The Jewellery Quarter

The third photo is in Spencer Street, I recognise it from working behind the two windows on the ground floor in around 2003 (to the left of the arched entrance) as per google maps. You can see The Jewellers Arms just a little further along on the left of the road.

Most members were from St Phillips Church choir, Birmingham Cathedral as it is now. They used to meet at a coffee shop in Cherry Orchard...

    Whitehouse street

I had relatives that lived in Whitehouse Street. I noticed on Google maps that the Old Aston Chain & hook Co (est 1904) building is still there. You can just make out the lettering. The Company moved to Bromford Lane in 1912 for larger premises.

    Canals of Birmingham

Absolutely, I think it is called laziness, when folks do not dispose of such items responsibly, it is also very selfish and costly to the councils and waterways to put right. Unfortunately there have always been and will always be those who think this is acceptable behaviour.

    City And Midland Arcades

Thought I would add to this thread as the old arcades fascinate me, I found this site that pretty much explains the layout of the "city" arcade which intersected with the "midland" arcade. https://tiltbrum.com/city-arcade-history Sadly city arcade is much shorter predominately empty units...
