    Windows 10

Could probably have saved a load of time by just reinstalling the existing driver. Driver corruption is fairly common and the following method usually works. Go into Device Manager, click on the appropriate item to open the list and right click on the driver. Click 'uninstall device' then reboot...

    IN OUR GARDEN 2023

About 2 more inches of snow during the night and this morning a set of mysterious 'footprints' in the front garden. Took me a few minutes to work out what had made them (well I am a bit slow first thing!). Any guesses?

    Yardley Cemetery Map

There wouldn't be room on the map for the grave numbers! I visited the office armed with the plot number and the lady there gave me the details of my gt-grandparents grave within a couple of minutes - section 24, 29 graves along and 7 up (on the map!) from the corner. As you already have the map...

    Searching for my Uncle's grave.

I asked a guy whom I presume was a groundsman if he could direct us to the location you (anner) gave; he phoned his colleague to come up with 'the buggy' which he did within about a minute and he lead us to the spot. How about that for service! They said that as the earth hadn't yet settled the...

As the family seem to have a strong connection with the Church it may be worth contacting them to see if they have any contact details. https://www.stthomasmorercchurch.com/contact-us.html Due to Data Protection regulations they probably would not be able to give you direct information but you...

    Searching for my Uncle's grave.

I think it may be worth getting Catherine's death Cert as well as it would have the name and address of the informant, which with a bit of luck would be her daughter.

    Searching for my Uncle's grave.

The Death Certificate would show place of death; if a private address it would be reasonable to assume that's where he lived but of course if he died in hospital that would be no help. My wife reckons 3 Yew Tree Lane Solihull is still there (her memory is better than mine :() if so it's a...

If his death was registered in Solihull that is most likely where he lived, not Yardley. However this is not an exact science! 3 Yew Tree Lane Solihull doesn't appear to exist as I think it disappeared when the bypass was built.
