    My son Lee called his son "William" after his great great grandfather who fought in the first world war. My son was very proud of his great grandfather and my mum sent him his war medals. Wendy

    Ooops William I must say I did love Emmerdale Farm when it first started.:rolleyes: Younger and easier to please haha. But I do understand what you mean, I see the shorts of the 2 soapies I mentioned, the story lines are so over the top and not very convincing. I dont bother with them now. Wendy

    Hi Jukebox, yes we do have some good ones I did like A place to call Home and The Dr Blake mysteries, hubby also loves Miss Fisher Murder Mysteries . I am not a fan of the two long running soapies Home and Away and Neighbours but they are very popular. Wendy

    We watch a lot of British programs, Silent Witness, Vera, Call the Midwives, Midsomer Murders, Prime Suspect, Killing Eve, 24hours in Emergency, Endeavour but Downton Abbey and Vera are favourites. Love em! Wendy

    Oh yes it worked haha. I had a small milk tooth at the front of my mouth when I was little it was a dark colour as it grew through with no enamel on, I hated it. Mum was up the road at my aunts one day and I thought right this is it. I put strong cotton around it and connected the other end...

    The Blitz Britain on fire

    My mum took my daughter out for the day when she was around 4 or 5 years old for a trip to Coventry to see the ruins of Coventry cathedral, my daughter is 43 now and still clearly remembers that day out with her nan. Thank you for posting the photo Wendy

    Hi Edifi I had pigs trotters as a kid but I have never tried pigs tails.:( Love the dripping on toast.

    Double yolked eggs.

    We had ducks for around 20 years loved their eggs. Always shared them round with family and friends. Have seen them recently for sale on the roadside near where we live at $10 a dozen, needless to say I think thats a bit over the top!

    Definitely Kayli in a pointy bottom bag and a finger to eat it with! mmmm yum We always called Sherbert the one in the sherbet fountain yellow tube with a stick of liquorice to eat it with.
