    Another Bus Location

It looks like a Hillman Minx - with 4 bags of cement in the boot.

    Birmingham buses

I have just found a bus tracker on bustimes.org. Not many buses being tracked but maybe it will get better with time.

    Birmingham buses

I am not quite where to post this, either Buses or Computer Help. I am looking for a bus app that shows the buses on a map. I have the Nat Express WM one that shows maps with bus stops and your location and bus times, but it does not show the bus on the map. I am sure there is an app out there...

    Windows 10

Just checked on my Windows updates and found that KB4512941 is optional, so it has not installed on my machine. I think I will wait until it is sorted.

    Tile cross

It looks as though it was taken from the sharp bend, looking towards Tile Cross island/Bell Lane. Tile Cross Surgery would on the right, just out of view.

    Clothes & shoes of yesteryear

I remember the Woollies cardboard collars. You turn the inside out and wear them again if funds were short.

Thanks again for that. I thought at first that I had gone wrong, so I re read your instructions. Then I looked at my desktop and there was my music folder with new icon. Cheers.

    Windows 10

Do any of you whizz-kids out there know how I can create my own Windows icons from my photos? May be there is a converter somewhere but I can’t find one. Many thanks.

    Metro progress 2019

It took 3 years to lay 3/4 mile of track from Snow Hill to New Street. How long to reach the airport?

What do you watch on tv nowadays ?

Watced a programme on Freeview tonight, on Channel 7 BIRMINGHAM TV. It was called Streets of Birmingham which took us round the streets of Digbeth and Deritend, with a local historian telling us all about the history of buildings and factories in the area. Very interesting.

    Centenary Square developments 2019

At least they are straight. In Coventry, from the station towards city centre, past the new council offices, they have bent lampposts. It must be some architectural scheme or meaning, but I can not see the point.

    See Birmingham by Post Card

It is downhill from the church. Could be towards Stoney Lane.
