This pic of the Lido at Stetchford Baths(not one of my own)was on the site before it was hacked,so a big thank you to the original poster.This is how I remember it.

Phil,thanks so much for posting these latest photo's.I lived in the area until 1967 and both sides of my family lived there going back to my great,great grandparents times.It has been a real trip down memory lane. Keegs.

Oh we were luckier there,we passed Wimbushes bakery an the way back to school and we were allowed to nip in quickly to buy something to eat.

I was taught to swim at Green lane baths Small Heath and loved every second of it.An old victorian place with tiles and wooden changing cubicles around the sides.I swam for the school and for the scouts learning to swim opened up so many other opportunities for me.Very happy memories.

The"Paramount" New Street,before it became "Odeon".

Not sure if this 1970 clipping is on the right thread,but you can see it in the distance.
