    Re: Elizabeth Riley (born about 1880) If you buy the Marriage cert that Alberta mentions, you will be able to get back further. This will tell you the fathers names of Elizabeth and Henry. People can then look for them on various census(censi?)... Kaz

    Love, love ,love cucumber sandwiches - only use the vinegar though , not the oil/sugar stuff! However, have a major problem now - can no longer get malt vinegar where i am. Obviously i am no longer in sunny UK but out in the wilds of another country(Canada!!) Son is really disappointed...

    Hi Mike, Accoding to the census, Charles (Adams) Reeves was a Gun Smith(71),Gun maker(81),gun smith(91) and gun action filer(01). His wife Sarah was a Tripe seller(81), shopkeeper(91) and shopkeeper - general provisions in house (01). I am guessing that his wife actually ran the business...
