    Thanks Di we've just had a birth certificate come through for my great gran & we were waiting to see what her mothers maiden name was. It looks like Nash but i suppose that its likely to be Iles now, it does seem a bit scribbled ! Its as unusual as Twitty is so i'll def take note of that thanks.

    Any information please on Claude Cecil or Cecil Claude Cooper who married Frances Ellis somewhere between 1900-1910 at a guess, and where they were living at that time. I think it was in the Aston/ Newtown area but i can't be too sure. Anything would be a help thanks. :-\

    Hi Sylvia Frederick John Wallace's parents were Joseph Wallace & Eliza Hood & their other children were Harriet, Samuel, Joseph, William, Mary Ann, Charles H, Louisa & Sarah. I don't have their birthdates to hand but i have come across them on one of the census's. Hope this is of some help :) :)

    :)It does all sound interesting doesn't it. The only document we have to go by is my nan's birth certificate which gives Alfred Bick as the father & his occupation as a wire drawer...the same as his father George. I think that would be the best bet now in getting a copy of his birth certificate...
