    Where I work, all "non-essential" car users are charged £1 per day to park on the premises,but as all staff are issued with a full bus,train and metro pass,it's looked on as an incentive to use public transport. The money raised goes towards things that will benefit staff.

    we used to take mom's old wooden clothes horse outside and put a sheet or blanket over it for a tent! Oh and in the summer with the light nights, mom used to put a blanket over the curtains, so it would be dark in the bedroom and we'd go to bed/sleep the same time as in winter!
