    Lyn, you can buy victory 'V's in the Gt. Western arcade sweet shop, but they are nowhere near as strong as the old ones.

    Birmingham now is one dreary, unwelcoming area, full of cranes building office blocks, (how many more do we need), and student flats,only original area left now is Digbeth/Deritend, but not for much longer I'm afraid.

    Tamboura had a shop in Stafford Street from about 1955 until they were demolished in about 1962, I worked over the road opposite W. H. Price.
