    Was travelling down Duddeston Mill when witnessed the said balloon come down. By the time we had got to the area there was already people at the scene .If only it landed in the canal maybe the impact and outcome may have been different sad sad day.     No you are spot on they can fetch from a couple of hundred pound onwards as people have fond memories of them. Had a triang pedal car .Seems most pedal cars and bikes were all made by Triang . I think they ought to make pedal cars like that for adults or should i say for adults that have not...

    Used to use Yew Tree Chippy when leaving the pubs and Broadstone Chippy . Nothing like curry and chips in a tray or mushy peas pickled egg never fancied a gerkin though looked wierd. Plenty of salt and vinegar yummy i feel hungry now.

    Just shows how reliable they were. Correct me if i am wrong but did A T Gittins have a premises in Sutton Sreet off Bath Row. That is where i purchased my first ever push button radio . Could not afford a radio cassette.
