    Great memories had those cap bombs jumping toys. Best toy gun for sound had like a plastic ring of caps that into the chamber of the gun and that would frighten the life out of you.

    Remember the Poolway shops Woolworths Record shop was there a Co-operative up the corner by the entrance to the park. Hardware shop and iam sure the was a Gentlemans outfitters called Burnsteins maybe wrong. Cafe.

    Just shows how design and safety have advanced over time and how that helmet may have been worn by someone on the Isle of Man TT back in the day.

    Crombie another smart piece of clothing. A work colleague would always wear his Crombie with a silk handkerchief in the pocket collar and tie if we met up in Birmingham City centre. Always looked immaculate . Fond memories.

    Used to press my trousers using a handkerchief and a jug of water. Shoes always polished and only wore black socks . Nowadays it's jeans and casual shoes. Would not be allowed in most nightclubs with jeans on or any.
