    Only went ice skating once and that was to Solihull Ice Rink . Killed my ankles trying to be Bambi on ice. Hats off to everyone that can ice skate.

    A bit of sour grapes but they were built anyway and gave people who could not afford a mortgage an affordable accomodation with fitted kitchens seperate toilet and bathroom and usually a nice view from the back garden. Plus they were detached .

    Just been looking on Birmingham City Councils website and according to them there are 16 Prefabs in Wake Green Road and they are Grade 2 listed buildings.

    Used ro go to the Swan Disco on a Sunday , Bloomers opposite and sometimes call in at the Bulls Head after work for a swift half.

    Thursdays, Faces, Top Rank , Too many mirrors in Snobs espacially when you had a few too many lager and limes . Like i have said before great memories of happy times . I think your memory is fine.
