    We Birmingham that is used to have great Christmas lights. I remember Kong but cannot remember him being dressed up as Santa but looked good .

    I have inherited an old tobacco tin with screws in from my late father in law . Cough sweets and mint tins all were handy to keep bits and pieces in.

    Yes remember they were popular . Try TK Max have spotted some before and purchased them . Sometimes pot luck if you find them but you never know. Quality Street at Christmas was another one.

    Totally agree with you. I was driving up by the NEC on Thursday and the devastation caused to our countryside by HS2 just angers me. You are right even if there is a public consultation it makes no difference because the go ahead was already given not just months but years in advance.
