    Hi yes we did the go carts and the house brick battles on the bomb sites, but the one i remeber the most was the banger fights. One gang would attack another gang lighting bangers and throwing them at one another great fun at the time, but thinking about it now frightens me to death.

    Hi i worked for Wilmot Breeden at the time we did three 12 hour shifts and lucky for me i got a part time job labouring for a floor layer on the other days i was quids in.

    My dad met my mother while working for wilmots in the early 1940s my dad (Ron Beetison) worked in K block and Mom (Olive Rudge) worked in A block. My wife worked in the main office block in Amington Road I worked at the Kings road factory , we met at a new year dance held in the canteen in 1961.
