    In the 1973 picture the television shop was owned by Reynolds Bros., and I recall they repaired car radios in the 1950's for the company where I was employed and coincidentally I was employed by Mr Curtis whose pick-up is in the photo, John.

    White Family/White’s Garages

    The garage appears to be on the corner of Hanover Rd (says road on my map) and Belgrave Rd in the picture on this site, "Worthpoint", the road junction with the Paynes shop is Bristol St (A38) and Hanover Rd runs into St Lukes Rd. Here's one of the images, John.

    I've been using a sharpening program (free) which will only sharpen blurred faces and seems to work well. The software only works on Android or iOS (apple) systems, it can be made to operate on Windows but the effort is not worth the trouble. The app is called "Remini" and obtained from Google...
