    I meant to mention that your ancestor was most probably Roman Catholic and the church will have records, births, marriages and deaths, which in this case will be held at St Chads Cathedral, coincidentally, located very close to your relatives workplace and residence area. J.

    The Kings Norton Metal Co minted one penny pieces for the years 1918 and 1919 and they are quite valuable depending on condition, they range from around £5 each to over £1,500 for an un-circulated. They are identified by a small "KN" to the left of the date stamp. Some 1912 pennies were made...
