The houses in this area date from the twenties.

It turned into the Swinging Sporran but not even sure it's open now..

Wasn't Lewis's record store in the Bull Street subway?. The Old Square subway precinct seemed in my opinion to be one of the more successful pedestrian underpasses in the City,this picture makes me almost wish we still had it.

Thinking about Digbeth today I've often wondered how the houses on Bordesley Street have survived (i'm glad they have), the ones on the corner of Allison Street are quite ornate for the area and wondered who and what they were built for. This smashing shot on Flickr explains they were by Jethro...

Dad says the wool shop was Dixons and Sadlers was the shoe repairs and the park was as you say at the start of AB row next to the junk shop.
