    Yes they appear to be in the same grave E111 Clara 1925 but there's two Georges, one in 1881 and George T in 1914. There's a Lydia in 1912 and a Mary M (would that be Martha) in 1928.     It was said earlier in the thread that it's dead around Spring Hill but the last time i popped into the Tesco there it was heaving, probably the street itself is quiet but it's not dead. Wouldn't Tesco's have something to say about a closure as didn't they part fund the Library's refurbishment...

    The buildings on the far right were still there up until about 1990 i think, there was a decent chip shop there. I think that row of buildings to the right were called Kings parade or something like that. Most of Dale End was to be redeveloped a few years ago but the economic climate has held it...

    Very interesting, my family were from the same area. If you're interested there's an aerial shot of the area on the Britain from above site and i'm sure you can make out Buck Street in 1947...if you register with the site it allows you to zoom in...
