A lot of tower blocks were built by George Wimpey Plc, but I couldn't find who the architect was.

One wonders if it was just one architect who designed all the tower blocks that went up in Birmingham in the 1960s....;)

Good! I went with the only photo I had. Looks like both Odeons had same architect.

Yes, in a way. However we may dislike the decor, it was "home" to someone, and they decorated it as they saw fit. It worked for them, even if for no one else.
