    Wagon and horses Sheldon

Thanks Mike :) I tried to work it out, but it is difficult indeed. The 1900 kelly's make it confusing for me because it lists 6 after Montpellier Place then 11, 13, 14, and 23 which kind of looks as if 13 is in the middle but later kellys only lists 6, 11 and 13 which makes it look like its the...

Hi mhemery, Thank you so much for posting that fantastic photo, I have not seen that one before. When enlarged it shows wonderful details. Yardley Cemetery

Hi Folks, thought I would do a little delving for this thread, hope you don't mind. I remember the house on the corner, which I believe became a Neighbourhood Office and was later boarded up. I thought it might not be the right place Mike as the initial enquiry was for The Wagon, but if you think its ok I will :) 1. Shows the position of the Prince Arthur in 1889 on Arthur Street 2. Shows the position of the Regents Park on the corner of Herbert Street where it met the Coventry...

Hi Westwitch, Welcome to the BHF from me :) Your post about The Wagon is in just the right place. I'm sorry to say I don't have any earlier information about the pub at the moment apart from the fact that it is said that the pub dated "from 1627 and that from the 1870's it also had Tea and...

    Sargant Isaac 1911 census -

Hi Claire, The 1911 image on Find My Past shows the Infirmity Column at the end which isn't visible on the Ancestry one. Isaac is recorded as an Imbecile and linking that with the "at Rubery" got me thinking that maybe he was a patient at Rubery Hill. I have found Rubery Hill, which wasn't easy...
