    Record shop favourites in birmingham

    I'm fairly certain that Revolver had a shop on New St, right hand side as you walked up towards Victoria Square, think just before Corporation St ?. Also like to give a Nod to Polar Bear Records, York Rd Kings Heath.

    I'm certain that Dr Blackstock's surgery was on the corner of Gladys Road / Coventry Road, huge double fronted Victorian House. I believe its last incarnation was as a Health Centre.

    I once bumped into Tony Iommi outside Curry's superstore on Marshall Lake Road, Solihull. He lived in Dorridge at the time. Very friendly. He also came into Scruffy Murphy's, Dale End, for a Photo and Radio Interview a couple of years ago.
