    Eddie 14 was the damaged house in Patrick Rd rebuilt as I can't remember a house with a different design. If I remember correctly there is a bungalow in Vera Rd which is different to the other houses.

    Nice to see any pics of Sean or Noel Barnes. I lived near Sean when he was near the Yew Tree pub in Yardley - had a few beers with him there. Noel worked with me at Southalls Computer Centre Alum Rock. Both guys were originals, mould broken at birth as they say !!!!

    OLDBRIT - if I remember correctly in the 1950s the buses that went down Moat Lane were 15B. The 15A went to Whittington Oval and they split routes at the Yew Tree.

    I was on overhead and told the highest pole was fox and goose washwood heath. the ladders didn't quite reach bottom rung so needed to stand on top rung of ladder and pull yourself up. Hairy indeed

    thanks. this is looking along Omaha beach showing the bluffs that had German machine guns and artillery. Although it shows people sat on the beach I was informed that people enjoying the beach is rarely seen. The next pic shows the expanse of beach that had to be crossed at low tide

    Been to Pegasus a couple of times. This is Pegasus Cafe (I believe run by a French woman that has a house in Tanworth in Arden) and the Ranville cemetery where a lot of the Paras are buried
