    It was called Rainbow because thats what the Co-op called their social clubs. I also went to one at Yew Tree Yardley co-op called Rainbow.

    Regarding the above entry, my great grandfather lived in Birmingham but was in Oxford and Bucks light infantry and died aged 46. I am trying to find out his history. Could anyone confirm that as he is buried in Abertillery he would not have been killed abroad please?

    I knew Pete Oliver's brother Richard very well during the 80's and met Pete several times with Richard. I believe Pete ran a music shop In Benidorm for several years and is also an entertainer.

    There is a programme called Calibre, free to download, that will convert most formats to Kindle Fire. You may be able to use that. Not the easiest to use but ok with a bit of experimenting.

    If I remember someone was thrown out and collapsed, probably due to drink. I believe he chocked on his own vomit but someone on the door at the Rum was accused.
