    Does anyone know where the POW camp was in Sheldon. I remember huts on the Oaklands, Church Rd Yardley but believe they were for refugees and displaced people.

    Favorite film ever

    I think I havent seen one of my favorite fims yet, the Railway Man - Colin Firth. I read the book last year and have the film ready to watch but keep putting it off. Book was excellent and know I will really enjoy the film as I have heard lots of comments. I am a bit worried I may be disappointed.

    It will be interesting to see what benefit W10 gives. I have read this morning there is a problem with WIFI passwords but that is easily fixed. I don't think I will upgrade yet unless there is significant benefits.

    That takes me back, just looking at that pic reminds me of winter days, grey ,walking along sheldon heath road to the shops. I remember going there xmas 1962 ( i think) start of the big freeze. Snow on the pavements until easter.

    I went to Cockshut Hill until it became a senior school, probably around 1958. Then Blakenhale, passed 11 plus then Sheldon Heath Comp as it was local, big mistake in my opinion. John, did our paths cross?
