    The servant at this address on the 1911 is actually in my tree ( Nelly Louisa Reeves)...but perhaps of more interest is that her more prosperous relatives were also living in this road in 1911/1912 at 8, Sir Harry' Road..this was the Brough's who were booksellers/dealers... Small world ...

    Hello Aiden, sadly there will be very little info on a marriage cert as early as 1826, just the names of the couple, names of the witnesses & whether the couple were " of this parish". It is only after 1837 that there is more info regarding ages, job description, & fathers names appear...

    No! Alberta, you do want these folks in your tree, they are annoying !!! I will certainly look into the details you have found. In 1891 James Alfred Cornish was in the army & appears to be serving in Ulster/Ireland. I have found no marriage for James & Katherine in 1891...my own thoughts on...

    Reference number for death certificate - lookup please

    I usually just write out my request for a certificate on plain writing paper..it means I can add any info that I think applies to the person named on the cert. I have never had a problem. I would add that if applying by post you will need to send a SAE. Margaret.
