Janice, A Thomas Sankey seems to have spent time between 1903 and 1912 sleeping rough and being fined for it. I wonder if he is the same man who joined up in August, 1914, married in 1917 and settled down? Appreciate your views please? david

Yes I found this but as it was a year after he was recorded living with his daughter in Birmingham I wondered if this was correct. I was hoping someone would find another possibility. Several of the trees on Ancestry suggested this also. Looks like this is the likely one. David
