    the first date of baptism 15 nov 1723 seems to be incorrect as there is no edward clark/e for that date. the other two dates are correct but no extra info - just fathers name as you have stated

    on ancestry there are just a few directories for the late 1700`s and there appears to be two thomas cotterells one living hill street who was a carpenter and joiner in 1777 and 1781 one living 3 lancaster street who was a maltster - again in 1777 and 1781

    i have looked through a lot of the burial records (with different spellings of cotterill). some are illegible - but i have found this one thomas cottrill buried 29 july 1812. no other info although if it was a child it would say "son of ...." so it was an adult. not sure if this is yours...

    hi glenys, sad to say there isnt much recorded at these early dates. nothing extra on the marriage at all - name listed as cotterell on the baptism it does say isaac son of isaac "cottrell" so at least you have the fathers name all the best, shera
