his service records do appear on ancestry. it is probably worth you getting credits to have a look as his signature is even on there. he lived 159 rookery rd. handsworth. next of kin was eliza cooper (his mother) at that address. he was an engineer pattern maker.

the info from the marriage at st. martins is as follows james white of this parish bachelor and sarah rhodes of this parish spinster were married in this church by banns this 11th may 1803. they both signed with a cross the witnesses were mary rhodes and alexander sanders (a church official).

there are no electoral rolls on line after 1955 at present. i looked in the kellys directories and saw harold at the southlands address in 1956. he didnt show up after that. there is a "urban winsor" who lived at 214 villa st. for many years after that date.

in 1935 they were at the southlands address as well (wrongly transcribed as winsoar)
