    Sorry Lyn, no...but the doors in the "round window" make it look as though it was some kind of mill (think there would be a block and tackle there). I can't imagine that's possible in the area, can you? Maybe a paper mill though....it's about half way down the left-hand side of Kenyon Street...

    Thanks for the photos Astonite, I was in Birmingham yesterday and it's a bit of a shambles because of the closing of Corporation Street to traffic. Even some of the bus drivers didn't know which way to go (the passengers were directing)!

    Totally agree Ray. I shall be sorry to see it finish tonight - best thing that's been on TV for ages. (And not a mention of the bl**dy Olympics in it)!!!!
