    Leake, Shaw,Canham family

Not sure but he may be with his father, step mother and sister, Lily, in Balsall Heath. Age for Charles, Harry and Lily match. Charles is listed as a die sinker. Is that similar enough to a stamper?

    Leake, Shaw,Canham family

If you can trace them to the 1939 Register then that will give dobs, though it's not always correct. Failing that it would be birth certficates. To start with, Florence who is actually Harriet Florence appears to marry an Alfred Watson and on the 1939 Register (11 Partons Road) she gives her...

    Where is this taken?

Apologies Lyn. I inferred that Keith suggested that the original photo was much earlier but the same dress seems to imply the same time?

    Where is this taken?

Apologies if I've got the wrong end of the stick but isn't the lady in post #1 and post #41 wearing the same dress?

A couple of bits of luck - Agnes' parents, Patrick & Mary married just after registration began, Jun 1938 Bham. And on the 1871 census Agnes is with her widowed mother and she gives her birthplace as County Mayo. Here is the Catholic listing for Patrick and Mary's marriage, though there's...

No, Agnes' parents appear to be Frederick Moore (as per marriage certificate) and Agnes Connor/O'Connor. She is listed as Connor and O'Connor at different times. Frederick possibly born 1849 Bradford, parents from Norfolk. Agnes possibly born 1848ish Bham, parents from Ireland. Their marriage...

Not sure when the census scan is from but I don't think it's correct. William appears to be at 59 Great Brook St in 1881 and 9h 2ct Clifton Road in 1891, son of Thomas and Matilda.

    Bayley Charles William

There is another article on the 17 February 1900 which is a prelude to this one when they were also visited (coincidently by a constable Bailey) and accused of neglect. It says they were nearly sent to gaol then but were given 6 weeks to reform, which they obviously didn't. Strangely there is...

So many tantalising snippets with no one to explain them. Florence appears to have died in 1966, so not that long after the Christening.

Great Lister Street and surrounding streets.

Address is listed as 41 Great Lister St in the 1970s newspapers. I'd assume the building is still there. Possibly had another premises in Church Lane, West Bromwich.
