    Ghost signs of Birmingham

And finally I did go back with something better than an Iphone and - yes, it does look like the word "Diesets":- However - most of the second "S" and the corner of the building were lost at some stage:- Viewed from Livery St the side of the building with "Taylor and Challen" on it looks as...

I re-visited Miller St over the Xmas hols armed with my trusty 150-600mm lens, so was able to get some better closeups of the tram wires, etc:- However - Percy the Pigeon seems to have found a nice home in one of the end windows:-

    Dunlop

I suspect this is taken from Holly Lane, with the Commercial Office building (not the Fort Dunlop building - they are quite similar) in the background. Looks like the car is driving over the new tram lines which were being installed around this time

    British Industries Fair Castle Bromwich

Found these on the Bristol Museums Collections Website (well worth a look by the way!!) Some nice models too! 1932:-...

Has anyone ever seen one of these before?

Thanks Mike. Looking at the other slides I would date these earlier now - possibly around 1965 as that was when the design of the Lunar Module was finalised but the Saturn V rocket was still being "adjusted". Incidentally, if you want to see how the Lunar Module WAS designed, try episode 3 of...

Has anyone ever seen one of these before?

Found in the middle of 2 boxes of slides I am scanning for a relative:- I am guessing this dates from the late 1960s and was Sugar Puffs equivalent of a sweet cigarette card? Great so long as you owned a slide projector (go straight to Dixons and buy one if you did not......)
