Inspired by a post in the gardening 2023 thread. It would be interesting to see what grows wild in the UK that we can eat.
Blackberries, it's a start I suppose!
Lovely pics, thank you. More tidying and some washing down for me today. Deadhead some bedding plants, they are still looking lovely. Resisted the jet washer once again!!!!!!!
Hey all of my wonderful gardening buddies, not had to do much in my garden today after yesterday's work! Just thought I'd drop by and say hello. Err, the downside here is it's raining!!!!!!!
You should wear something to protect yourself from the nettle stings. You never know nowadays, don't mean to alarm you but anything like that that can be avoided, it's probably best.
Fine rain here today. I'm not wishing my life away, but I'd love to get the jet wash out. Trouble is all of the bedding plants are still looking lovely, I really only jet wash after emptying the pots of bedding plants!!!!!! What am I like!!!!!!
Interesting, obviously that area has been redeveloped and the post box is still there. That's the kind of thing I'm looking for, hoping to find some more in similar circumstances, for example, Broad Street.
I know where that pillar box is!!!!!!!! Hopefully I will be back around there at some point and I can get a pic.
I'm hoping to find a pillar box in Central Birmingham, but perhaps the Digbeth pillar box is as central as it gets.
Great info in this thread about the Landlords, pics and stories. What date was the pub built, plus a map of the street around that time would be good. Pity I didn't stop and get a better pic.
I did look up The Anchor, but couldn't find anything, thanks for moving the post.
It looked busy on Sunday, like you say, let's hope with the accommodation developments etc that it picks up.
